“I was in charge of planning my best friend's bachelorette party, so I chose the Barley Bus because I liked we were going to stop at all 3 places. That way there was something for everyone to enjoy. We had a blast!!”

Questions

What the maid of honor asks us

What does it cost?

Guided tours: $99 a person, or $125 for BBQ or Tacos & Margaritas. Bus rentals on the 14-passenger bus: $150 an hour Monday to Thursday, $175 Friday to Sunday, 4-hour minimum. The 20-passenger bus is $175 and $200. From November 20, 2026 through January 3, 2027, rentals are priced differently: the first 3 hours are $850 (14-passenger) or $1,000 (20-passenger) Sunday to Thursday, or $1,050 or $1,250 Friday and Saturday, then $225 or $250 for each extra hour, plus a 10% gratuity (3-hour minimum; some Saturday start times need 6). Tours and hourly rentals add the same 10% gratuity at checkout.

How do we hold our date?

Booking 16 or more days out? A $200 deposit holds your date and counts toward your total. The deposit is non-refundable. Booking 15 days out or sooner, you pay in full when you book.

How many people do we need?

A guided tour is priced for at least 10 guests on the 14-passenger bus, or 15 on the 20-passenger bus. Smaller group? Join one of our public tours. More than 20? We bring a second bus.

Where do you pick us up?

Wherever your night starts: your Airbnb, hotel or house. Pickup within 20 miles of downtown Kansas City is included. 20 to 35 miles adds a flat $150, shown before you pay.

What can we bring?

Your own drinks and snacks. Just no glass. Winery, brewery, distillery and Tacos & Margaritas tours need everyone 21+ with a valid ID, checked at boarding. On a bus rental, alcohol is allowed only if everyone aboard is 21+.

What if some of us don't drink?

Non-drinkers are welcome, though drink tours still need everyone 21+. If half the group would rather eat than drink, the BBQ tour is food-first and open to all ages.

How far ahead should we book?

Saturdays book 1 to 2 months out in peak season, so lock yours in early. Last minute? Call or text (816) 323-3889 and we'll check what's open.
